Description

Crisp, thin, and intensely chocolatey brownie brittle.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Spread batter thinly and evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
  9. Let cool completely on the baking sheet before breaking into pieces.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
