Description

Easy and delicious pie using canned peaches. A simple dessert for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained
  • 1 box (14.1 ounces) refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon coarse sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Line a 9-inch pie plate with one pie crust.
  3. In a bowl, combine peaches, granulated sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  4. Pour peach mixture into the pie crust. Dot with butter.
  5. Cover with the second pie crust. Crimp edges to seal. Cut slits in the top crust for venting.
  6. Brush the top with milk and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.
