- 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
- 1 cup caramel bits
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Pour apple pie filling into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle caramel bits evenly over the apple pie filling.
- Pour dry cake mix evenly over the caramel and apples.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts over the top, if desired.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
