Ingredients

- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and flour.
- Stir in melted butter, eggs, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour filling into unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
- Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
- Top with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
