Easy chocolate lava cake recipe for a quick dessert.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, melted
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease and flour two ramekins.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar.
- Whisk in eggs and egg yolks until combined.
- Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Stir in melted chocolate until smooth.
- Pour batter into prepared ramekins.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are set and center is still soft.
- Let cool for a minute before inverting onto plates.
- Dust with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve immediately.
