Description
A festive treat combining dark and white chocolate with crushed peppermint candy.
Ingredients

- 12 ounces quality white chocolate (like Ghirardelli)
- 12 ounces quality dark chocolate (like Ghirardelli)
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy (I use starlite)
Instructions
- Line a 9×12 pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave (30-second intervals, stirring until smooth).
- Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the parchment paper and spread to about 1/3″ thickness.
- Melt the white chocolate using the same method.
- Pour the melted white chocolate over the dark chocolate, aiming for equal thickness.
- Crush peppermint candies in a ziplock bag using a hammer or meat tenderizer.
- Sprinkle the crushed peppermint over the melted white chocolate.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours to harden.
- Break the candy into pieces.
- Store in the refrigerator if you live in a warm/humid climate.
Notes
- Ensure the white chocolate is soft when layering to prevent separation.
