- 1 1/2 cups cold milk
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until smooth.
- Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract to the cream cheese and mix well.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar to the cream cheese mixture, beating until smooth.
- Add the thickened chocolate pudding mixture to the cream cheese mixture and beat until well combined.
- Frost your cake or cupcakes immediately.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use whole milk.
- If the frosting is too thick, add a tablespoon of milk at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
- Store leftover frosting in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
