- 4 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
- 1 prepared pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cranberries, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and cloves.
- Pour cranberry mixture into the pie crust.
- Dot with butter pieces.
- Cover the pie with a crust or lattice top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
- Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Use a pie shield to prevent the crust from burning.
- For a sweeter pie, increase the sugar.
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
