A simple and delicious no-bake dessert featuring layers of chocolate goodness.

- 1 package (14.3 ounces) chocolate sandwich cookies
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 container (12 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 2 boxes (3.9 ounces each) chocolate instant pudding mix
- 3 cups milk
- Chocolate shavings, for garnish
Instructions
- Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs.
- Mix the cookie crumbs with melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gently fold in 1/3 of the whipped topping.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and milk until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie crust.
- Pour the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate sandwich cookies.
- You can substitute vanilla pudding for chocolate pudding.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
