Description

A simple and delicious no-bake dessert featuring layers of chocolate goodness.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (14.3 ounces) chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 container (12 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 boxes (3.9 ounces each) chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 3 cups milk
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs.
  2. Mix the cookie crumbs with melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in 1/3 of the whipped topping.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and milk until smooth.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie crust.
  7. Pour the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  9. Garnish with chocolate shavings.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate sandwich cookies.
  • You can substitute vanilla pudding for chocolate pudding.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
