- 1 pound linguine pasta
- 1.5 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
- Pour in white wine, chicken broth, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes.
- Stir in parsley and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of Parmesan cheese.
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your preference.
- Serve with a side of crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
