Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups whole milk, warmed to 110°F
  • 1 instant yeast packet (2 ¼ teaspoons)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 ½ cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)
  • 1 cup butter (for caramel)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for caramel)
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar (for caramel)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (for caramel)

Instructions

  1. Grease a bundt pan generously.
  2. Mix sugar and cinnamon for the coating in a bowl.
  3. Combine flour, sugar, yeast, baking powder, and salt in a mixer.
  4. Add water, milk, eggs, and melted butter slowly. Mix for 3 minutes until smooth.
  5. Scrape the bowl, cover, and let rise for 45-60 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  7. Punch down dough, roll into balls, dip in butter, then cinnamon-sugar.
  8. Arrange balls in the bundt pan.
  9. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.
  10. Melt butter for caramel, add brown sugar, whisk until combined. Stir in vanilla and salt.
  11. Pour caramel over dough balls, reserving some for serving.
