- 1 ½ cups whole milk, warmed to 110°F
- 1 instant yeast packet (2 ¼ teaspoons)
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 ½ cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)
- 1 cup butter (for caramel)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for caramel)
- ½ cup packed brown sugar (for caramel)
- ¼ teaspoon salt (for caramel)
Instructions
- Grease a bundt pan generously.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon for the coating in a bowl.
- Combine flour, sugar, yeast, baking powder, and salt in a mixer.
- Add water, milk, eggs, and melted butter slowly. Mix for 3 minutes until smooth.
- Scrape the bowl, cover, and let rise for 45-60 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Punch down dough, roll into balls, dip in butter, then cinnamon-sugar.
- Arrange balls in the bundt pan.
- Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.
- Melt butter for caramel, add brown sugar, whisk until combined. Stir in vanilla and salt.
- Pour caramel over dough balls, reserving some for serving.
Notes
- Use high-quality gluten-free flour for best results.
- Bake towards the bottom of the oven to prevent burning.
