Description

Make irresistible Green Velvet Brownies with a swirl of creamy cream cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 box white or vanilla cake mix (about 15.25 oz / 432g)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (113g)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Green gel food coloring
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (225g)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (50g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine cake mix, melted butter, eggs, cocoa powder, and green food coloring. Mix until smooth and spread into dish.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add egg, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until creamy.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter. Swirl gently.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes.
  6. Cool completely before slicing.
