Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (14.1 ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Add onion and green bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in tomato soup, mixed vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Line a 9-inch pie plate with one pie crust.
  6. Pour the beef mixture into the pie crust.
  7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Cover with the second pie crust, crimping the edges to seal. Cut slits in the top crust to vent steam.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
