- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon red food coloring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 4 ounces white chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add flour. Stir until a smooth dough forms.
- Let the dough cool slightly. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in red food coloring and vanilla extract.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- Pipe churros into the hot oil, about 6 inches long.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Remove churros and drain on paper towels.
- In a shallow dish, mix sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll churros in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- For the white chocolate dip, heat heavy cream in a saucepan. Add white chocolate and stir until melted and smooth.
- Serve churros warm with white chocolate dip.
