Description

Create festive Reindeer Oreo Balls with this easy recipe. These treats are perfect for holiday parties or a fun baking activity.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 45 Oreo Cookies (about 1 18oz package)
  • 8 ounce block cream cheese, softened
  • 15 ounces Ghirardelli dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 2 cups pretzel twists, broken in half
  • 48 candy eyes
  • 24 M and M’s or Red Hots

Instructions

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment and set aside.
  2. Pulse Oreo Cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  3. Beat softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Add Oreo crumbs to the bowl and mix until combined.
  5. Portion out Oreo mixture with a scoop and roll into smooth balls. Place on the prepared tray.
  6. Chill the tray in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  7. Melt dark chocolate melting wafers in a double boiler or microwave.
  8. Dip each ball into melted chocolate, removing excess. Place back on the tray.
  9. Insert two broken pretzel pieces for the antlers.
  10. Add one M and M or Red Hot for the nose, holding it in place briefly.
  11. Add two candy eyes above the nose.
  12. Repeat with remaining Oreo balls. Reheat chocolate if needed.
  13. Allow Reindeer Oreo Balls to set completely before serving, about 15 minutes.
  14. Keep refrigerated until ready to eat.

Notes

  • Any flavored Oreos work. Use the same amount, about 45 regular cookies.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
