- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 4 cups peeled and sliced apples
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine cake mix, milk, and melted butter.
- In a 9×13 inch baking dish, arrange apple slices.
- Sprinkle apples with cinnamon and sugar.
- Drop cake mix mixture by spoonfuls over the apples.
- Pour boiling water over the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
