Description

Soft baked maple donut bars are easy to make and perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cups whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.33 cups pure maple syrup
  • 0.25 cups melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and maple syrup until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Spread the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into bars; enjoy warm or at room temperature.
