Description

A sweet and creamy Strawberry Buttercream Frosting perfect for cakes and cupcakes.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup strawberry puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons milk or cream, if needed

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Stir in the strawberry puree and vanilla extract.
  4. If the frosting is too thick, add milk or cream, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Beat the frosting for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  6. Use immediately to frost your cakes or cupcakes.

Notes

  • For a stronger strawberry flavor, use strawberry extract in addition to the puree.
  • Adjust the amount of powdered sugar for desired sweetness.
