Description

Strawberry Shortcake Sushi Rolls are a fun and delicious dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sweetened sushi rice
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • Shredded coconut for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare sushi rice according to package directions. Let cool.
  2. Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  3. Spread a thin layer of rice on a sheet of plastic wrap.
  4. Spread a layer of whipped cream over the rice.
  5. Arrange sliced strawberries and a line of strawberry jam in the center.
  6. Carefully roll the rice and cream around the strawberry filling, using the plastic wrap to help shape it.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Unwrap and slice into sushi-sized pieces.
  9. Garnish with shredded coconut.
