Description
Make sweet air fryer churro bites. This recipe gives you a quick and easy way to enjoy churros at home.

- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
- 1 cup white sugar
Instructions
- Combine water, butter, salt, and sugar in a pan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and gradually add flour, stirring until the dough comes together. Remove from heat.
- Transfer dough to a bowl and let cool for 4-5 minutes. Add egg and vanilla extract. Mix with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Transfer churro dough to a piping bag. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray. Pipe bite-sized churros into the basket, do not overcrowd.
- Lightly brush butter on top of the churros. Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Work in batches if needed.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon powder in a bowl. Transfer cooked churros into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Toss to coat evenly. Brush with melted butter to help mixture adhere.
- Serve warm with dips like chocolate syrup, honey, or Nutella.

- Freshly ground cinnamon is preferred for more flavor.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer.
