Easy crockpot turtle candy recipe. Perfect for holidays and gifting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 32 ounces pecan halves
  • 32 ounces chocolate almond bark
  • 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 75 Rolo candies
  • sea salt optional
  • sprinkles optional

Instructions

  1. Add pecans, almond bark, chocolate, chocolate chips, and salt to a 4 or 6 quart crockpot. Do not stir. Cook on low for 1 hour.
  2. Stir the ingredients after 1 hour. Cook on low for an additional 30-45 minutes and stir again. Turn off the slow cooker when the chocolate and bark are fully melted.
  3. Place unwrapped Rolo candies about 3 inches apart on wax paper.
  4. Use a tablespoon to scoop mounds of chocolate coated pecans over the Rolos. Sprinkle with sea salt and sprinkles, if desired. Allow to fully set before enjoying.

Notes

  • Substitute almond bark with white chocolate and add 1 tablespoon of shortening if needed.
  • Crockpot Candy lasts 2-3 weeks in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. It can be frozen for up to 6 months.
