- ½ cup gluten-free all-purpose flour with xanthan gum
- ½ cup gluten-free quick oats
- ½ cup light brown sugar, packed
- ½ teaspoon gluten-free baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ⅓ cup butter, diced and softened
- 4 cups apples, peeled and chopped
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons gluten-free all-purpose flour with xanthan gum
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ¼ cup light brown sugar, packed
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8″ x 8″ baking dish.
- Combine gluten-free flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Add butter and mix until crumbly. Refrigerate.
- In a separate bowl, mix apples with lemon juice, milk, melted butter, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, gluten-free flour, and salt.
- Pour apple mixture into the baking dish. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Freeze for up to 3 months; thaw overnight and reheat before serving.
